There’s always that terrible, nerve-wracking period when a book comes out when you (or, OK, me) spend your time going… what if everyone hates it? You’d think after getting such praise for Dark Dates I’d be more confident, but if anything that simply made it worse. What if people felt let down? What if they thought it was worse? Luckily, though, the reviews have started to come in – and I’ve started a tentative round of PR (not as much as I’d like, but I’m really, really busy at the moment, dealing with family illness and pending homelessness as I am househunting with increasing desperation) and guess what? People like it! Phew…
Wolf Night was a top pick on Night Owl Reviews and got 4 fangs out of 5 at Fangs for the Fantasy, while Gaele from the Jeep Diva and Jo from JaffaReadsToo gave it 5 stars. (You can see a round up of the reviews here). The TBR Pile also gave a nice solid review of the short stories.
On the Guest Post front, I did a piece over at the Bunny Reviews about writing a sequel and I have a few other things in the pipeline.
So, all in all, I’m pretty pleased/relieved with the reviews so far. Have you read it yet?
