One of the most exciting things about getting the books into print is the thought of them being out there in the world as things, so I have been chuffed to bits by people sending me pics of the books when they’ve bought them, especially if they send me ‘shelfies’, as there’s a particular thrill to seeing your book next to authors you love. So here are some shelfies (including mine – spot the history nerd and Supernatural and West Wing fan who can’t take an unblurry photo to save her life) and one ‘cattie’ (I’m not sure I have a name for that).
